2021 Advising & Registration Schedule


Late Admits 

All of our regular Red Raider Orientation session have passed. If you missed our regular sessions or were recently admitted, you must still attend a Late RRO session to register for classes.

*Weekdays only.

Technical Assistance
For technical assistance throughout your session, including Zoom or Blackboard Collaborate issues, call IT Help Central at (806) 742-4357 (HELP).

STEP 1

Register

Call the Red Raider Orientation office at 806-742-2993 to register for a Late RRO session.

STEP 2

Complete Modules

Log in to Complete Modules

You must contact our office to register for a session before you can access the modules. 

These modules contain important information about your life as a Red Raider in your first semester and beyond – including campus safety, student involvement, preparing for academic advising, registering for classes, and more!

  • There are 18 individual modules composed of videos and text.
  • The modules will take around 60-90 minutes to complete.
  • Your progress is automatically saved, and you can return to your modules at anytime if you want to take a break.

Your Red Raider Orientation hold will not be removed until you check-in AND complete your modules, so make sure to complete them as soon as possible to ensure you are able to register for classes during your RRO session.

Mandatory RRO Check-in

After you have completed your Online Modules, please call the RRO Office at  806-742-2993 so we can assist you in removing your RRO Hold and receive your academic advising information.

Academic Major Advising

Academic Advising will vary based on academic major. Check your ttu email for instructions from your academic advisor. 

Honors Advising

If you have been admitted to the Honors College, you are required to enroll in at least one Honors section during your first semester at TTU. We will host an optional Honors RRO Registration Help Zoom Room on your RRO session date at 1:00 PM that you are welcome to join. If you're not able to make a connection with us then, feel free to contact the Honors advising team at honors.advising@ttu.edu or 806-742-1828.

Pre-Professional Health Careers

Are you in a declared major, but are also interested in a career in health professions? Our advisors in Pre-Professional Health Careers, in addition to your major advisor, can assist you in reaching your health career goals.  Visit www.pphc.ttu.edu or email pphc@ttu.edu for more information.

Class Registration

Visit www.raiderlink.ttu.edu to register for classes.

If you receive an error:

  • If you are trying to register before 1 pm and get a Time Ticket error, wait until 1 pm then refresh your browser.
  • Contact your academic advisor for assistance with registration errors such as required permits and restricted courses.
  • When multiple errors appear, it is recommended that you attempt to register for each class individually to determine which is actually causing the error.
  • Review our list of error messages with their explanation and a potential solution.

Virtual Campus Resource Fair

Visit the Campus Resource Fair Page

Learn about different student support services who can help enhance your student experience. You can browse by category, sort by department name or search for key words. The "fair" is asynchronous, so you can access it whenever and wherever you are! Don't be afraid to reach out if you have questions. We are all here for you!

Taking Care of Business

As your schedule allows, talk with representatives from the Offices of Student Financial Aid & Scholarships and Student Business Services.

For confidentiality purposes, you will need to request an individual meeting to meet privately with our representatives.
