Meet Thomas
Hey y'all, my name is Thomas Wolf! I'm from Round Rock, Texas and I'm a Mechanical Engineering major who loves everything about Texas Tech. Transferring here was one of the best choices I've made! Family and hard work mean everything to me and I try to show it through every action I take. In the future, I want to be a competent mechanical engineer that's able to design new systems that are vital to the running of the company. After I've worked for a while, I want to get a Master of Business Administration to further my advance on the corporate ladder and provide a great life for my family.
The proudest moment I've had at Texas Tech is going to one of our packed, late-season football games and being able to regularly recognize fellow students within the crowd, even though I had only been there for a couple months! Sports games at Texas Tech feel like home and you will always be able to catch me at them.
If I could go back and talk to myself on my first day at TTU, I would tell myself to talk to everyone you meet! It can be tough to go in headfirst into meeting people, especially as a transfer student living off campus, but there's nothing to lose. Most people are in the same boat as you, even though it doesn't necessarily feel like it.Life as a Red Raider
