Established more than 50 years ago, Hobbs Bonded Fibers is one of the most technically advanced nonwoven companies in the United States.  With more than 450,000 square feet of manufacturing area in two facilities in Waco, Texas and 250 dedicated employees, Hobbs Bonded Fibers produces approximately 34.50 million linear yards per year of different types of nonwoven products.

Hobbs Bonded Fibers manufacturing processes include needle punching, thermal bonding, resin bonding, surface coating, calendaring and various chemistry treatments to suit individual customer demands and specifications.

Capable of producing a variety of synthetic and natural fibers, they have a diverse range of branded and specialized products for use in military, industrial and general consumer markets.

On March 30, 2005, Texas Tech University and Hobbs Bonded Fibers entered into an exclusive agreement to manufacture, market and distribute a multilayered composite nonwoven which provides chemical and biological protection.  This material has a wide range of civilian and military uses and applications.
