Join Raider Service Break at the Grand Canyon National Park for a week of SERVICE

Grand Canyon State Park. TTU TrUE

The Spring 2020 Service Breaks is traveling back to Arizona to serve at the Grand Calue SB logo Canyon. This has been an amazing trip the last three years and we can't wait to take more TTU students to experience the Grand Canyon like never before! Accommodations are in the Grand Canyon and participants will be working very closely with various park employees to learn and serve in the park! The Grand Canyon relies heavily on volunteers in order to keep the park running! This RSB will allow TTU students to give back to one of our nations most important landmarks. Be ready to learn anything from conservation, special activities allowed in the park, the management of over 5 million guest per year, and the amazing history and culture of one of the seven wonders of the world!

Besides the work that we will be doing; we are also planning for lots of fun and exciting activities! Be prepared to go on hikes that are sure to have fantastic views!

Here's your opportunity to volunteer in one of the most beautiful places in Texas: Palo Duro Canyon! Volunteers will be staying at the Gilvin Center, a part of the park not usually open to the public. This pristine area of the park is absolutely stunning, and quite different from what most park visitors get to see. Service projects will help the park to conserve the precious natural and cultural resources of this special place so that we may hand it down to future generations in even better condition than it is in now.

Volunteers are vital in helping take care of our state parks and TTU Raider Service Breaks is excited to offer students, faculty, and staff an opportunity to Serve, Learn, and Travel at Palo Duro Canyon.

Service Breaks participants must be willing to learn, serve, step out of their comfort zones, be flexible, and have fun!

REFUNDS ARE ONLY GIVEN IF RAIDER SERIVCE BREAKS CANNOT ACCOMMODATE YOU ON THE TRIP OR IF THE RSB IS CANCELED.
