Conference Registration

Texas Tech University's annual Undergraduate Research Conference (URC) is a two-day gathering of students, faculty, and staff who come together to learn, grow, and be inspired. Whether you're presenting or an active participant, the URC is a wonderful professional development and networking opportunity for you.

Texas Tech University Students

Texas Tech University Students are asked to register for the conference after being accepted to present at the Undergraduate Research Conference. Presenter registration date will be coming soon.

TTU students who register by the  deadline will not have to pay conference registration fees.

TTU students who register during the late-registration period will pay a $35 late fee.

Visiting Students

We invite students from outside of Texas Tech University to attend and/or showcase their work at the Undergraduate Research Conference.

The conference registration fee for visiting students is free through the early registration deadline.

Visiting students who register during the  late-registration period will pay a $35 late fee.

Presenter registration for the 2020 TTU URC is now open and closes on January 24th at midnight.


TTU/TTUHSC Employees

TTU/TTUHSC Faculty, Staff, and Graduate Students are invited to serve as a judge for 2020 TTU URC. Judge registration is coming soon.

Judges will be assigned up to six specific presentations to evaluate based on a set rubric. During the registration process you will have the opportunity to choose the day, format of presentation (poster, oral, or both), and areas of research you prefer to evaluate.

PLEASE NOTE! You will be asked to review projects from disciplines that may not be within, or closely related to, your filed of expertise. This is an intentional aspect of the TTU URC as we strive to provide presenters the opportunity to communicate their research to a variety of audiences.

TTU Students and Staff

Texas Tech University students who are interested in research are invited to serve as volunteers during the 2020 TTU URC. Volunteer registration is coming soon.

Staff members whose availability may prevent them from serving as a judge are also encouraged to volunteer.

TTU Students Groups

Student groups, clubs, or organizations that are interested in volunteering during the TTU URC should contact the Center for Transformative Undergraduate Experiences directly to coordinate scheduling.

Visiting students are invited to bring a spouse, significant other, friend, or relative to the conference. Non-Presenter registration is no longer open.

A conference registration fee of $35 will be required for all attendees who are not TTU system students that would like to participate in conference activities.
