Before Admittance

Required documents:

• High School Diploma or equivalent 
• TSI compliance
  • Reading: 351+
  • Writing: 340+ & essay of 4 OR essay of 5
  • Math:
    • Beginning Algebra: 339 & below with an ABE of 5 or higher
    • Intermediate Algebra: 340-349
    • College Algebra: 350+
• College Transcript(s)
  • We require official transcript (s) of academic records from all institutions in which you have been or are currently enrolled. Applicants must be eligible to return to the institution most recently attended. If the transcript service you use is requesting an email address to deliver your document to Texas Tech, please have it sent to: admissions.transcripts@ttu.edu. Failure to provide required documents will result in delayed review of file.

Applications for the Fall 2019 semester must be submitted by August 1, 2019. All associated application documents, including TSI scores, meningitis shot records, and final high school transcripts, must be submitted to TTU by August 15, 2019.

During Semester

• Advising appointments as set by your Academic Advisor
• Seminar attendance
• Absences:
  • No more than 4 absences per 3 credit hour course
  • No more than 1 absences in the IS 1101 course

Transfer Requirements

• Cumulative 2.5 GPA
• Compliance with all semester requirements
