A veterinary student who has fulfilled all the academic requirements may be
ranted the degree Doctor of Veterinary Medicine provided the student:
- Attends, in person, the ceremony at which time the degree is conferred unless unforeseen circumstances are present;
- Has demonstrated the ethical, personal, and professional qualities deemed necessary for the successful and continued study and practice of veterinary medicine;
- Has fulfilled all financial obligations to TTU and TTU SVM.
- Has successfully completed all required coursework (170 semester credit hours) in no more than six years and, at the time of graduation, has a cumulative grade-point average of 2.00 or better for all credits earned.
