Academic Standards

  • The veterinary faculty does not assure any student that it will offer a combination of courses or a sequence of courses that will enable a student to qualify for the veterinary degree other than the normal program of study in four consecutive academic years of two semesters each for the first three years and a yearlong clinical year.
  • The School of Veterinary Medicine reserves the right to modify the requirements for admission or graduation; to change the arrangement or content of courses, the instructional materials used, tuition and other fees; to alter any regulation affecting the student body; to refuse admission or readmission to any student at any time; or to dismiss any student at any time, should it be in the interest of the veterinary school.
  • At the end of each semester, you must meet specified GPA requirements to be in “Good Standing” at the School of Veterinary Medicine.
