Justin R. Glosson graduated from Texas State University with a Bachelor of Music in Education in 2009, and again in 2013 with a Master of Music Theory. His thesis explored alchemical symbolism in modal symbolism. After teaching elementary music for four years, he began attending Texas Tech University in 2017 to pursue the Fine Arts Doctoral Program. He is a Helen DeVitt Jones Graduate Fellowship recipient. His current research interests include modal affect, shared rhetorical structure in ritual and performance practice, and early music performance practice. He enjoys playing Dungeons & Dragons, MMORPGS, improvising contemplative music, and composing for the harp.

Teach state standard elementary music curriculum of Pre-Kindergarten to Grade 5 through Kodaly and Orff styled lessons. Instruct private lessons and sectionals to neighboring middle schools and high schools, including Palo Alto Middle School and Ellison High School. Prepare student performers for Talent Shows, District Choir Ensembles, and multiple campus concerts. Serve as sponsor for Cardinal Choral Ensemble and Cardinal Orff Percussion Ensemble for the campus.
