Dustin Delano serves as Administrator in the Office of Research & Innovation. In this role, he assists multiple personnel inside and outside of the OR&I and is a general contact for the office. Mr. Delano oversees internal competition and event logistics for the OR&I as well as assisting in entrepreneurial activities and programs at Texas Tech.  Part of Dustin's duties as Administrator include IT liaison, Cluster, Center, and Institute reporting, Inventory oversight, student assistant supervision and recruiting, Competition Space management, general troubleshooting and solution management, and other duties as needed.
Delano is a Building Emergency Manager (BEM) for the Administration Building, as well as a backup contact for the Research Facilities manager.

Delano joined the OR&I in September 2010, after working at TTUHSC for 2 years and graduating from Texas Tech University with a Bachelor of General Studies in 2006. He is now the proud father to Violet and Jace Delano, and husband to Anna Harder Delano. Dustin continues his education by pursuing an accounting degree from the Rawls College of Business.
