Carey Hobbs Endowment Scholarship
Carey Hobbs, a Texas Tech University alumnus, former regent of the Texas Tech University
System and former member of the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board, has devoted
much of his life to supporting Texas Tech and promoting higher education. Most recently,
he established an endowed scholarship for students attending Texas Tech University
at Waco.

To expand access to higher education in Waco, Hobbs has established a scholarship for students attending the Texas Tech University regional site in Waco.
Requirements
- A displayed financial need
- GPA greater than 2.0
- Must attend classes in Waco
Deadlines
- Applications are open until all funds are awarded for the upcoming/current fall semester.
