Program Manager for Special Projects

Dustin Florence is the program manager for special projects with the Writing Centers of Texas Tech. He earned his B.A. in Liberal Arts from St. John's College in Santa Fe, NM; his M.A. in Literature and Languages from National Cheng Kung University in Tainan, Taiwan; and his M.A. in Applied Linguistics from Texas Tech.

Dustin's professional experience includes teaching English as a Foreign Language in a variety of institutional settings from K-12 through graduate school; providing writing consultations to Texas Tech students, staff, and faculty; and collaborating with members of the Texas Tech community to design and implement writing instructional support programs.

Dustin's areas of research interest lie in the intersection of language, literacy, and communication.
