Dustin McDunn is a veteran of the newsroom and the classroom. After growing up in rural Montana, Dustin earned his BA in Journalism from the University of Montana and his MA in Communication from the University of Hawaii. He has experience in the field as a journalist working for Montana Public Radio and KNDU TV in Kennewick, WA. As a general assignment reporter, Dustin covered everything from on-the-spot breaking news to light-hearted personal interest stories.

The college classroom is where Dustin found his favorite place to be. He got his start in academia at Kapiolani Community College in Honolulu, HI where he taught journalism and advised the student newspaper. After moving to Houston, TX, Dustin worked at Houston Community College teaching speech and mass communication.
