About Kymberli

Kymberli Saldaña, MA is an assistant dean in the Student Division of the College of Arts & Sciences.  In this administrative capacity, she is responsible for supervising the degree auditing process for the college, and serving as liaison to various student service offices throughout campus.

Kymberli manages academic advising issues for the college, certifies the academic progress of student athletes, assists in various recruitment and retention activities, serves on Academic Council, Associate Deans Council, and Advising Council, handles the processing of academic integrity appeals and oversees the management of commencement exercises.

Kymberli, a native of West Texas, is a two-time graduate of Texas Tech University, earning her bachelor's degree in Spanish, while going on to receive an MA in applied linguistics. She lives in Lubbock with her husband Matt, who works in TTU's Department of Geosciences, and they have two children – Emalee and Nico. Fun fact about Kymberli is that she's a major cat lady and loves to attend live concerts! She has served in the student division at A&S for more than 10 years.
