Stefanie Borst, Ph.D.

Associate Dean for Recruitment, Retention, & Curriculum

Stefanie Borst, Ph.D., is an Associate Dean in the College of Arts & Sciences. In her role as Associate Dean, she oversees the Office of Student Success, College Recruitment, and she convenes ASCAP, the Arts & Sciences curriculum committee. Additionally, she serves as liaison to various student service offices throughout campus. 

In her role as a faculty member, Borst is an associate professor of German and Applied Linguistics in the Department of Classical & Modern Languages & Literatures. She teaches all levels of German language and culture, as well as graduate courses in Applied Linguistics, including Language Policy & Politics, and Technology for Language Learning.

Outside of work, she enjoys camping, hiking and boating, and all things outdoors.
