Texas Tech Day in Austin
The Texas Tech Alumni Association invites all Red Raiders to Texas Tech Day in Austin on Feb. 17. A strong Red Raider presence in the State capitol demonstrates the importance of adequate funding of higher education, especially funding for the Texas Tech University System.
All alumni are encouraged to join Texas Tech Chancellor Kent Hance and other Texas Tech System leaders in Austin on this day.
“It is important for Texas Tech alumni and supporters from all over Texas to be there,” said Bill Dean, executive vice president and CEO of the Texas Tech Alumni Association. “We want to show Texas legislators that Techsans from all over the state are interested in how our elected leaders support higher education.
“We also need your help in expressing the specific needs of Texas Tech University to these individuals,” said Dean.
