New Faces at TTU International Affairs!

Dr. Rich Rice is a faculty member in the TTU Department of English specializing in technical writing and rhetoric and intercultural communication. This month he also begins serving as the Director for the Texas Tech University Center for Global Communications.

At the same time, Dr. Mario Beruvides currently serves as the Associate Vice Provost for International Affairs at Texas Tech University. Beginning this month, he will also step into the role as Interim Director for International Center for Arid and Semiarid Land Studies (ICASALS), a center with a long history of international research and scholarship at Texas Tech.

We are so excited to welcome both faculty members and look forward to their work in International Affairs!

South African Fellowship Opportunities!

The Stellenbosch Institute for Advanced Study (STIAS) in South Africa is currently offering Individual Fellowships and Team Fellowships, with application deadlines at the end of October this fall for implementation in the first semester of 2025. STIAS welcomes applications from all disciplines and countries and encourages multi-disciplinary projects.
