                              - Scheduling - Create a schedule for when you plan to do your school. Even with flexible
deadlines, a schedule will keep you on track and make you efficient in your work.
It might even help you graduate early!
- Messaging your Teacher - With no physical teacher constantly present to guide you
in your course work, directions and concepts may take some extra time to understand.
Dont panic, and dont be afraid to message your teacher through Blackboards messaging
system. They are more than willing to help you!
- Crash Course, Quizlet, and Khan Academy - These two online resources can be beneficial
in further comprehension of concepts in coursework. They are also helpful to review
                                 for quizzes or tests.
- Find a place to work - If you do school at home, choose a place where you will be
most productive in your schoolwork. Usually, such a place would not be your bedroom,
because your brain connects the room to sleeping and resting. Look for a different
option such as a desk, table, or couch in another room.
- Take notes that suit your style - If you are a visual or tactile person, it may be
helpful for you to take physical notes of your coursework, rather than electronically
or not at all. Use notebooks, journals, scrap pieces of paper, colors, pencils, highlighters,
pens, or whatever helps you learn. This can make studying both easier and more enjoyable.

                              - Be organized - Organizing all your assignments is crucial, because you can get lost
on what you have to do.
- Managing social life and school - As you are in an online school, your life with friends
and family can be mixed with your studies. However, you should do a schedule where
you can put all of it together.
- Keep up with your grades - You should always check in the portal of your online school
to see if you are getting better or notice what you should improve.
- Enter in the correct websites - There are lots of wrong and fake websites that can
mix you up in your schoolwork.
- Be more active - By being an online student, you are able to do more sports and focus
more on your health (physical and mental).

                              - “Precrastination” - Finish your work as early as possible so you dont need to worry
about doing it later. Take full advantage of self-pacing and finish courses early.
By doing this, you can excel among your age group and take challenging, advanced courses
                                 early on.
- Set short-term goals to stay on track - For example, aim to complete two lessons of
a math course during a weekend. By setting structured goals, one can easily stay on
track. Without a clear daily schedule, it is easy to fall behind.
- Create a long-term schedule - Decide which courses to take, and plan on their completion
by a certain date. For example, create a rough schedule for January-April that plans
final exam dates and allocates time for doing schoolwork and studying. This will help
you accomplish your goals far better than spontaneously working on random courses.
- Taking frequent breaks - TTU K-12 academics are more mentally taxing than normal school,
as self-pacing mandates full mental attention. Consequently, aim to spend no more
than two hours at a time doing schoolwork. Breaks improve concentration and learning
efficiency, so it would actually be counterproductive to not take breaks.
- Enjoy distance education! - TTU K-12 doesnt restrict you to a school schedule, so
fully use your opportunity to take mid-year vacations, sleep in every day, or spend
more time on extracurricular activities. Being primarily self-taught, TTU K-12 is
more challenging than regular school. Therefore, you should reward your efforts by
                                 promoting a healthy school-life balance.
