What kind of activities are offered through OLLI?

OLLI offers an array of classes spanning topics from the arts, film, music, politics, current affairs, history, science, world cultures, and literature, as well as special interest areas such as computers, photography, health, wine and food, and more. 

Classes meet one to five times, depending on the topic, usually for 1 ½ to 2 hours.  Many are offered during the day time; some are offered at night. Most classes are taught by Texas Tech University faculty. 

Special events provide OLLI participants with the chance to pursue a variety of interest areas in the company of peers who have similar interests. Listen to world-class Texas Tech researchers discuss their areas of expertise during Lunch and Learning at the Lubbock Club, meet for dinner at the Lubbock Club and then attend a local theater performance in our Dinner and Drama series, or discover new sights and sounds during our Hidden Lubbock field trips.
