Peter Buffett, son of Warren Buffett, to perform at Texas Tech February 8th |
On Friday, February 8 at 7:00 pm, Peter Buffett, an Emmy Award-winning musician, New York Times best-selling author, and the son of financier Warren Buffett, will bring his music and the message of his book Life Is What You Make It to the Allen Theater located in the Student Union Bldg of Texas Tech University. This Concert & Conversation will kick off Texas Tech University’s Spring 2013 Presidential Lecture and Performance Series. Would you consider inviting colleagues and members to the event via your email newsletter or social media channels? The night promises an uplifting and inspiring lecture on success and self-fulfillment, as well as a beautiful musical performance. The performance, Life is What You Make It: A Concert & Conversation with Peter Buffett, is truly a unique, interactive event fusing music, video, audience participation, and personal anecdotes. As the son of financier Warren Buffett, Peter explains beyond his memoir, Life Is What You Make It: Find Your Own Path To Fulfillment (praised by the likes of Bill Clinton, Ted Turner, and Bill & Melinda Gates), that the only real inheritance handed down from his parents was a single, lasting philosophy: forge your own path in life. It is a creed that has allowed him to follow his own passions, establish his own identity, and reap his own successes while giving back to the global community. The end result of the 'Concert & Conversation' is an inspirational and rewarding event that will resonate with every audience member, whether they’re seeking to lead a more fulfilling life, food for thought, or an enjoyable evening out. For a preview of the event, watch here: http://peterbuffett.com/liwymi-cc. EVENT DETAILS: There will be an opportunity to meet Peter Buffett at a book signing immediately following the performance.
