Welcome to the Texas Tech Population Center! Hosted by the Department of Sociology, Anthropology and Social Work, the Population Center serves as a link between Texas Tech faculties interested in demographic issues.
Every semester the center hosts a brown bag research presentation on population issues. Faculty affiliated with the center teach classes with a demographic content and do research related to population problems. Students interested in urban studies, family, aging, health
would gain a better understanding of their subject of interest by getting the demographic perspective provided by these classes.For demographic information
