Parking Areas for Commencement
Faculty/Staff Parking
Texas Tech University Faculty/Staff parking for commencement is located in the North parking lot of the United Spirit Arena. Faculty and staff may enter this parking area if they have a reserved or area reserved pass on their vehicle. See map below for parking area.
Family and Guest Parking
This is a wonderful time for our student's family and guests, and we want to make their visit with us enjoyable. Below is a map indicating the parking area for our student's family and guests. WELCOME TO TEXAS TECH UNIVERSITY!!
Accessible Parking and Seating
Accessible parking is located on the west side of the United Spirit Arena entrance for those with a handicapped parking pass. Guests needing assistance to the Arena, may have their families drop them off at the west entrance and their families should proceed to the Family/Guest parking area. Accessible seating is available on the concourse level of the Arena. Each guest is allowed one person to sit with them in the accessible area, other members of the family should be seated in the audience seating.
ATTENTION GUESTS ATTENDING THE 7:00 P.M. CEREMONY ON FRIDAY, MAY 8TH.
IF YOU ARE ATTENDING THE GRADUATE SCHOOL COMMENCEMENT AT 7:00 P.M., Friday, May 8th, A SHUTTLE BUS SERVICE WILL BE AVAILABLE TO OUR GUESTS FROM THE HSC, S01 PARKING LOT TO THE ARENA AND THEN BACK TO THE HSC LOT AFTER THE CEREMONY. WE WANT TO ASSURE THAT YOUR ARRIVAL FOR COMMENCEMENT WILL BE AS STRESS FREE AS POSSIBLE, BY ALLEVIATING TRAFFIC PROBLEMS.
THE SERVICE WILL BEGIN AT 5:00 P.M. FROM THE HSC LOT AND END AT 10:00 P.M. WE LOOK FORWARD TO HAVING EACH OF YOU AS OUR SPECIAL GUESTS FOR THIS EVENT.
