Adult Beginner and Intermediate Swim Lessons

Winter Session A
Wednesdays - One Day per Week
January 16th - March 6
Adult Beginner 6:30pm - 7:30pm

Tuesday/ Thursday – Classes meet twice per week
January 22 - February 14

Fitness Swimming

Are you looking to join a swimming community? Join our Fitness Swimming program!

Texas Tech Rec Sports provides scheduled coach-led workouts for adult swimmers though our Fitness Swimming group. Comparable to a Masters Swimming Club, this program caters to a wide range of individual goals including recreation, fitness, and competitive swimming. Our Fitness Swimming community consists of Learn to Swim graduates, triathletes, former competitive swimmers, recreational swimmers, and TTU faculty/staff/students. Paid participants will be provided with electronic copies of all workouts should they choose to swim outside of group sessions.

Tuesday from 6:15am - 7:15am
Thursday from 7:30pm - 8:30pm
Saturday from 10:00am - 11:00am

Interested participants should be comfortable swimming a continuous 300 yard distance using at least two of the four competitive swimming strokes. Please note that this program is not intended to teach swimming, but rather develop endurance gradually through engaging, custom, and scalable workouts for various swimming abilities.

Adult Private Lessons

Our private lessons are an excellent way to get personalized instruction from our certified Red Cross instructors. Please submit a private lesson form and we will get back with you to set up a lesson plan.

Long Course Swim at the Aquatic Center

Tired of doing flip-turns? Check out our long course with 50 meter long laps. Long Course is offered most  2nd and 4th Saturday's  in the Aquatic Center during Rec swim hours.  For more info, please email us at aquatics@ttu.edu. 

Regular membership entry rules apply for the Long Course Swim events.
