Welcome, Holley Baker!

By Joshua Blount, Editor

In early September, eLearning & Academic Partnerships welcomed Holley Baker to the instructional design team. In her position, Holley will have the opportunity to assist instructors when designing courses, giving students the best educational experience possible.

Holley graduated from Texas Tech University with a Master of Art Education degree with a focus in documentary filmmaking. Since joining eLearning, Holley has prepared materials and resources for professors and authors to include in their courses. Currently, she is utilizing her skills in videography to help create a video for a seventh grade science course. Holley hopes that through her work, she can inspire students to find their love for learning.

"I love learning. I'm very passionate about learning something new and always challenging myself to add to my knowledge base. What excites me the most is that I get to be a part of the team that encourages that kind of behavior in other students."

In her spare time, Holley is very active in the veteran community. She is part of the Veterans of Foreign Wars organization and serves as the chairman of the Veterans Advisory Committee for the city of Lubbock. She also enjoys capturing the Lubbock plains with her camera.

Holley's skills and fresh outlook make her a great addition to the eLearning team. Welcome, Holley!
