Victoria "Tori" Gotwald - 2020-2021 Secretary

I'm a second year masters student working towards my Master of Education in Higher Education Administration. I have worked within higher education since graduating with her B.A. in History from Schreiner University in 2015 as an Admission Counselor, Sorority Membership Manager, and Sorority/Fraternity Advisor. I currently work at Texas Tech University as the Lead Advisor in the Learning Center for undergraduate students. I have lived in a variety of places and one of my goals is to visit every state and one day travel to Japan.

Advice:

My biggest piece of advice is for graduate students to create a plan. Start by looking at your schedule. When will you study, work, and be with your family. All of these are priorities and should be seen as such. Once you have a weekly schedule planned, intentionally plan what you will do during each assigned time. When you are intentional you will find that each thing you complete will help you reach your goals.
