Our Purpose:

  • Promote multicultural experiences among faculty, staff, students, and community partners by facilitating events to recognize individual service and achievements.
  • Coordinate networking opportunities through cultural events aimed at fostering collaboration, research initiatives, and partnerships internally between Texas Tech System-wide partners and community stakeholders.
  • For faculty retention, offer personalized one-on-one meetings with final candidates during the faculty/executive staff hiring process. These meetings, scheduled upon request, address any inquiries regarding living in Lubbock and employment at Texas Tech.
  • Enhance student retention by organizing Professional Mental Health & Wellness Talks tailored for First-Generation Texas Tech students/Freshman. These talks are available upon request.
  • Engage in community outreach by arranging Professional Mental Health & Wellness Talks specifically targeted at Second Chance High School students in Lubbock.
  • Uniting as one global family, we can achieve the impossible, starting right here!
