Become a Friendship Family and share a part of our West Texas community with the Fellows.

These 25 young professionals are the best and brightest in Africa, competing for this Fellowship with an acceptance rate lower than the Ivy League. They are aged 25-35 years and are doctors, lawyers, non-profit founders, and leaders in their communities. While they are at Texas Tech for the next six weeks we would like to introduce them to our amazing Lubbock community and hospitality.

The Fellows will be busy with leadership sessions and learning opportunities, but we want them to also engage in something just as important, cultural enhancement. That is why we are reaching out to local families, couples or individuals to share an evening of cultural exchange with one or more Fellows. This will allow the fellows a chance to engage with Lubbock locals and conversation.

Friendship family events are generally dinners, but do not feel limited! You could also consider activities such as cultural events around Lubbock, family outings, movies, family BBQ's, 4th of July activities and more!

Please use the Form linked below to indicate that you are interested in hosting and which date(s) works best for you.
