Graduation Plan

The Foundation Plan with Endorsement is the recommended path for TTU K-12 students. Students who graduate following this path also receive the Distinguished Level of Achievement, which allows them to compete for Top 10% automatic admissions at any Texas public university and positions them to be among those first considered for a TEXAS Grant, should they qualify financially.

Course Requirements

Students on the Foundation Plan with Endorsement path complete a total of 26 credits (college-bound students will complete an additional 4–8 credits) and choose one or more or the following endorsements:

  • Arts & Humanities
  • Multidisciplinary Studies
  • Business & Industry
  • STEM

TTU K-12 is a special-purpose public school established and approved by the Texas Education Agency (TEA) and Texas State Board of Education. TEA approval ensures that all TTU K-12 high school core curriculum courses meet the standards set by the State of Texas and that students will be prepared for the STAAR and EOC exams.

Students can begin our program at any time. There are no application deadlines.

Enroll in our full-time K-12 programs in four easy steps:

  1. Complete the pre-admission form
  2. Submit an unofficial transcript* (if applicable) and the non-refundable admission fee**
  3. Enroll online (tuition and fees must be paid in full at the time of enrollment)
  4. Order textbooks and materials

  1. Obtain approval* (students attending a public, private, or charter school should obtain approval from their local school counselor or principal before enrolling in a TTU K-12 course or Credit by Exam)
  2. Enroll online (tuition and fees must be paid in full at the time of enrollment)
  3. Order textbooks and materials

Texas Residents: The State of Texas has designated TTU K-12 eligible to receive state funds. We offer a tuition-free K-12 online academic program for full-time Texas resident students. Registration and access to online/print textbooks are also free.

To be eligible to receive a Texas Tech University High School diploma, a full-time student must:

  • Earn their last 2.5 credits through successful completion of five TTU K-12 courses*
  • Pass all 5 STAAR®EOC exams

*Credit by Exams and Dual Credit do not meet this requirement.
