Alto II Section Leader

Ridge Point High School, Fort Bend ISD

Chelsea Berner is about to begin her seventh year of teaching high school choir and her fourth year teaching at Ridge Point High School.  Prior to working at Ridge Point, Chelsea taught at Spring High School and her students continue to consistently earn Superior ratings at UIL Concert & Sight-Reading Contest and Solo & Ensemble and perform in Region and All-State Choirs.  She is active as a singer and clinician in the Houston area and holds a Music Education degree from Baylor University and Master's degree in Choral Conducting from Michigan State University.   Chelsea currently serves as the Region 13 Secretary and Treasurer, as alto section leader at the Co-Cathedral of the Sacred Heart in Houston and actively performs with the women's ensemble mirabai.
