Wind Researcher Wins Jack E. Cermak Medal

 

Xinzhong Chen, a professor in the Department of Civil, Environmental and Construction Engineering and faculty affiliate of the National Wind Institute, received the Jack E. Cermak Medal for his approach to wind-related issues.

Texas Tech is the only university with two faculty members who have won this award, which is presented by a branch of the American Society for Civil Engineers.
