Dr. Rao’s current research areas are focused on evaluating and managing risks associated with both traditional and emerging contaminants in stormwater, sediment and wastewater systems. He is passionate about applying the principles of engineering to solve vital environmental topics, particularly related to sustainable resource management, and food-energy-water nexus.
