I received my Ph.D. in biological anthropology from Binghamton University (2009) and my M.Sc. in biomolecular archaeology from the University of Manchester (2004).
More Info
I am a broadly trained biological anthropologist specializing in anthropological genetics. My previous research includes examining the population genetics of the Yekuana in South America and investigating canid remains from the Holocene in Siberia. As a postdoctoral fellow at Kiel University, I conducted ancient DNA research focusing on Neolithic and Iron Age burials in Central Europe.
At TTU, I teach undergraduate and graduate courses including human variation, quantitative methods, and peopling of the Americas. My courses examine the spectrum of human variability and human biology by incorporating evolutionary, biocultural, and cross-cultural perspectives.
