Adrienne Scales is a Senior Academic Advisor for the Social Work and Anthropology degree programs. She brings over two decades of experience in higher education, having begun her career at Texas Tech University in 1999 within the College of Human Sciences. In 2005, she transitioned to the College of Arts & Sciences Dean’s Office, where she served as an Academic Analyst for ten years. She began advising students in the Social Work program in 2015 and expanded her role to include the Anthropology program in 2018, providing dedicated guidance and support tailored to each student’s academic path.

She is committed to helping students achieve both their educational and life goals, emphasizing guidance, encouragement, and practical support. Outside of her professional role, Adrienne enjoys traveling and spending quality time with her family and friends.
