Born and raised in San Francisco, California, Jasmin relocated to West Texas in 2006, fully embracing the spirit of the Hub City and has been a dedicated member of the Texas Tech University community since 2015.

After seven years of navigating the financial complexities of Student Business Services, Jasmin transitioned to the Department of Sociology, Anthropology, and Social Work (SASW) in 2022. As an Administrative Assistant for Social Work, she serves as a vital liaison for the program. She specializes in streamlining administrative workflows, managing intricate departmental logistics, and providing the structural support necessary for faculty and student academic success.

Beyond her professional role, Jasmin is deeply rooted in the Lubbock community. She is a dedicated "baseball mom" whose weekends are defined by the crack of the bat and the cheers from the stands as she supports her son, Mason. Whether she is solving problems on campus or cheering at the ball field, she brings a commitment to service and a passion for supporting the next generation.
