The Center for Active Learning and Undergraduate Engagement (CALUE) is committed to supporting and increasing undergraduate participation in active learning at Texas Tech University. Active Learning engages the learner directly in a phenomenon studied in the classroom at the University.
The Center serves as the centralized location for undergraduate students, faculty, staff, and community organizations interested in participating in the following active learning programs: Service Learning, Undergraduate Research, Professional Internship, and Study Abroad.
Steps to Get Started
The Center for Active Learning and Undergraduate Engagement is ready to assist you in your academic pursuits.
- Register with CALUE to receive information about opportunities and events related to active learning.
- Visit CALUE to meet with staff that can guide you through the process of getting involved
in active learning pursuits Wednesdays from 3:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. and Thursdays from 3:30
p.m. - 4:30 p.m. during their weekly Hours of Engagement.
- Make an appointment here: http://ttu.timetrade.com. When prompted, choose "Texas Tech University Office of the Provost" as the division and "Other" as the program.
- Attend the annual TTU Undergraduate Research Conference April 15-17, 2014 to view presentations by TTU students.
