2010 Top Techsan Nominations Now Being Accepted

Four honorees will receive a plaque and a cash award of $500.

The Peggy and Bill Dean Expansion of Merket Alumni Center

The Texas Tech Alumni Association’s Top Techsan Awards Luncheon is scheduled for Nov. 5, during the university-wide annual Homecoming celebration.

Four honorees will receive a plaque and a cash award of $500 during the presentations.

To be eligible for consideration of the award, nominees must:

  • Be a current full-time, non-faculty employee of the university
  • Have completed a minimum of two years of service as of May 3, 2010

Selections are based on the nomination form and supporting data, which fulfill the outlined criteria:

  • Brief summary of the nominee’s job
  • Description of extraordinary work proficiency and team spirit
  • Specific examples of how the employee has exceeded expectation of his/her job by exhibiting outstanding customer service, creating an environment of improved efficiency, and/or productivity, etc.

The form should also list at least two examples of specific behaviors and activities that illustrate how these criteria are met.
