Printing Procedures

Printing Procedures:

  • To obtain printing credit, or check account balance, students should visit the PcounterWebPay website to add money to their account using a debit or credit card.
    • A minimum deposit of $5.00 is required
  • All unused credit is rolled over to the next semester or the student can receive a refund by visiting with Digital Media staff.
  • Our printer accounting software is separate from other departments, including other TTU Depts.
  • To prevent someone else from printing on your account, make sure you log off before leaving your computer.
  • Credit will be given only for printing errors that are NOT the student's fault. Students must present proof of printing error to the staff in the Digital Media Lab.
  • Jobs printed by the print bureau staff will have an added service fee.

Printer Installation:

Windows

  • You must be connected to the TTU Network
  • From the Windows Start Menu, in search bar enter: \\elpasoprint.arch.ttu.edu
  • When asked to sign in, use your eraider credentials:
  • username: ttu\eraider name
  • password: eraider password
  • Domain: TTU
  • Double click printer you want to install and allow Windows to install driver

MacOS

  • Instructions for those using Mac OS X Mavericks or newer will be provided as procedures have changed.
