Lee Fischel is a student research assistant and undergraduate in the Davis College Plant and Soil Science Department. He joined TeCSIS-TAWC in January 2023. He assists our team members by conducting data collection, quantitative sample analysis, and general field maintenance and operations.

Lee has experience in several other areas of research including hydroponics, organic vegetable production, vineyard production, and fruit production. Lee's interest is in best management practices for environmental and economic sustainability. Using a combination of conservation practices, field telemetry technology, and responsible use of natural resources, a balance between economic and environmental concerns can be achieved.
