The Free Market Institute (FMI) at Texas Tech University (TTU) is pleased to announce the launch of the Texas Tech University Free Market Institute at Angelo State University (ASU) during academic year 2019-2020. The Texas Tech University Free Market Institute at ASU aims to advance research and teaching in economics in support of the missions of the Norris-Vincent College of Business at ASU and the FMI at TTU.

Faculty and Staff Members affiliated with the Texas Tech University Free Market Institute at ASU will contribute to the development and teaching of the economics curriculum in the Norris-Vincent College of Business and conduct independent academic research in support of the college's mission. They will also make contributions to ongoing and upcoming research activities undertaken at the FMI at TTU.

The Texas Tech University Free Market Institute at ASU will also develop and operate student and public programming for the benefit of students at ASU and the San Angelo community.

Call for Applicants - McLane Teammates Reading Program

The McLane Teammates Reading Program will launch at Angelo State University during the spring 2020 academic semester. The program is a scholarship reading program open to all full-time undergraduate student from any major. Participants that successfully complete the program receive a $1,000 scholarship for their efforts.

The theme for the spring 2020 program will be Paternalism. The deadline to apply to participate in the program is December 31, 2019. Interested students can apply to participate at the following link:
