The Free Market Institute at Texas Tech University (TTU) is pleased to announce the launch of the Texas Tech University Free Market Institute at Angelo State University (ASU) during academic year 2019-2020. The Texas Tech University Free Market Institute at ASU aims to advance research and teaching in economics in support of the missions of the Norris-Vincent College of Business at ASU and the Free Market Institute at TTU.

Faculty members affiliated with the Texas Tech University Free Market Institute at ASU will contribute to the development and teaching of the economics curriculum in the Norris-Vincent College of Business and conduct independent academic research in support of the college's mission. They will also make contributions to ongoing and upcoming research activities undertaken at the FMI at TTU.

The Texas Tech University Free Market Institute at ASU will also develop and operate student and public programming for the benefit of students at ASU and the San Angelo community.

FMI Public Speaker Series at ASU to Launch February 6, 2020

The Texas Tech University Free Market Institute (FMI) at Angelo State University (ASU) welcomes Dr. Russell Sobel, Professor of Economics & Entrepreneurship for the Baker School of Business at The Citadel, to present Economic Freedom, Entrepreneurship & Prosperity for the first FMI Public Speaker Series lecture at ASU. The lecture will take place on Thursday, February 6, 2020, at 5:30 PM on the ASU campus in San Angelo, TX. This event is free and open to the ASU community and the general public.
