Swimming

There are an estimated 63 million active swimmers in the United States, placing swimming among the top activities of any sport participation list. The sport appeals to men and women of all ages and skill levels. It provides everybody—infants, teens, adults, the elderly, pregnant women, the physically challenged, arthritis patients, injured athletes, novice, or expert—with a wonderful cardiovascular workout that works the majority, if not all, the major muscles in the body.
