In the spirit of academic and scientific cooperation, the NSRL provides much of its self-produced copyrighted material for royalty-free use. However, in the spirit of maintaining the integrity of the work, the following restrictions are imposed:

The NSRL Website is copyrighted by Texas Tech University. All rights reserved. 

Occasional Papers and Special Publications are copyrighted by Texas Tech University. They are made available for brief quotation and citation in academic and scientific papers, and for other purposes constituting fair use. 

Occasional Papers and Special Publications are available for download free of charge in PDF format from the website of the Natural Sciences Research Laboratory, Museum of Texas Tech University.  The authors and the Museum of Texas Tech University hereby grant permission to interested parties to download or print these publications for personal or educational (not for profit) use and distribution.  Re-publication of any part of an Occasional Paper or Special Publication in other works is not permitted without prior written permission of the Museum of Texas Tech University.
