Individual Sports Sign-ups
These Individual Sports are currently accepting registration in the IM Office, Rm. 203 of the Rec Center. A Racquetball League, aTable Tennis League and a Badminton Tournamen all are available for registration from now until February 17.
Saturday, February 13
Free for everyone! The first 100 students with a valid
student ID will get a free t-shirt courtesy of the Texas Tech Federal
Credit Union. Register from noon - 1:00pm and learn some
fitness/nutrition facts at the “mini-fair”in Rm. 114. Celebrate
Valentine’s Day with a 5k run or 1 mile walk beginning at 1:10pm.

The Outdoor Pursuits Center Has Plenty of Trips Coming Up!
From Ice Climbing to mountain biking in Palo Duro Canyon, the OPC has plenty of trips coming up this semester for all of your trip needs. And don't forget that the OPC has a ski and snowboard shop and will rent equipment for all of your own trips.

Ski and Snowboard Rentals
The OPC has all of the gear you need to hit the slopes. With new skis and snowboards, we have thebest equipment available at prices you won't find in New Mexico or Colorado.
Ski Package: $27/Weekend or $62/Week
Snowboard Package: $32/Weekend or $77/Week
NEW: Hot Rock Massage
The Fit/Well will be offering a Hot Rock Massage, one of the most relaxing and luxurious forms of massage. Hot Rocks registration will begin on Wednesday, January 13, with the first appointments set for Tuesday, January 19.
All Hot Rock Massages will be one hour in length and cost $50.
Vertical Plains Adventure Festival
Vertical Plains is a weekend celebration of the world we live in with a little climbing thrown in. 2010 marks the tenth year of the Vertical Plains adventure festival. This year's festival will take place during the weekend of February 12-13, 2010.
