Parking

Here at the Rec Center, we have a lot available just for those using the facility. We do share the lot with the United Spirit Arena, so parking can be different on days when it is being used. There is also a large part of the lot designated to students holding Commuter West parking permits. Below, we have divided the lot areas with rules about parking in each area.

Commuter West C-11 Parking:

If you have a...

Commuter West Permit:
- You can park in this lot at any time while using the Rec Center.  Your only restriction would be if you parked in the 2 hr Rec Center Only parking spots – then your time would be limited to 2 hours.

Commuter North or Satellite Permit:
- You can park in the commuter west (C-11) lot that serves the Rec Center any time after 2:30 pm Monday – Friday.  2 hr. Rec Center parking spots are limited to 2 hours.

Residence Hall Permit:
- You can park anytime in the commuter west (C-11) lot that serves the Rec Center.

HSC Permit
- With an TTUHSC parking permit (not UMC) you can park in the commuter west (C-11) at any time

.No Permit:
- The commuter west (C-11) parking lot that serves the Rec Center is open parking and requires no permit after 5:30 pm Monday though Friday.  Prior to that time Monday through Friday, persons without a permit must use the pay machine to park in the lot.  The 2 hour Rec Center only parking spots require a valid permit or paid parking pass until 8:00 pm weekly.  Cars without permits may also use the faculty/staff parking lot north of the Rec Center and across Main Street (R-18) anytime after 5:30 pm weekly.

2 Hour Parking:

Anyone with a legal TTU parking permit may park in the 2 hour parking but are limited to just 2 hours Monday – Friday 7:30 am until 8 pm.  Others may use the 2 hour parking but must use the paid parking machine.

Paid Parking

You may use the paid parking machine at anytime if you do not have a TTU parking permit. Remember it is open parking, except for the 2 hr parking, after 5:30 pm weekly and there are no parking permit requirements.
