Spirit Boards and Banners Competition

The spirit board and banner competition is an opportunity to for student organizations all across campus to show off their artistic skills. Be sure to stop by the Broadway entrance to campus to see the spirit boards on display all week! Winners will be announced at the Friday night pep rally.

See the boards at the TTU Broadway Entrance and Residence Hall boards along 18th Street, then see the banners hanging in the SUB!

Get ready to cheer on your favorite student organizations in this year's S.O. Sing competition. You don't want to miss this epic singing and dancing competition!

Comedy Night w/ Drew Lynch

Come out and laugh uncontrollably with other students while watching comedian Drew Lynch! Drew Lynch is a stand-up comedian known for his severe stutter. He appeared on the tenth season of America's Got Talent and finished in second place! Free with TTU Student ID.

A Snowy Day

December is far away so come slide down a man-made snow hill in the middle of October and romp in the snow pit, but please no snow ball fights! This is the first time we are doing this event and it is guaranteed to be a success!

National Pan-Hellenic Council Yard Show

The first annual NPHC yard show is one you don't want to miss. Various organizations across campus are putting on a show for you! This includes organizations from the Panhellenic Council, the Inter Fraternity Council, the National Pan-Hellenic Council and the Multicultural Greek Council. These organizations will be doing anything from stepping to strolling so putting on a skit or anything that they feel will entertain you! Prizes will be handed out as well during the show and the winners will receive a CASH PRIZE! This is an event to be at!

The Top Techsan luncheon will be held at noon on Friday, Oct. 14, in the McKenzie-Merket Alumni Center. Join us as we honor staff members who display extraordinary work proficiency and an attitude of team spirit within the Texas Tech family, as well as retired faculty and staff with at least 10 years of service to the University. The Texas Tech Homecoming Parade is a long-standing tradition. Members of organizations all across campus assemble their best floats possible and compete to win awards! The Parade is a great opportunity for Lubbock families as well as students to come together to celebrate the Homecoming weekend!
In the event of inclement weather, parade will be cancelled.

A Matador Evening

McKenzie-Merket Alumni Center

Join us for the 56th annual A Matador Evening on Oct. 14. The elegant event is a fundraiser, with proceeds supporting academic scholarships, faculty enrichment, local chapter efforts and alumni awards, as well as an opportunity for alumni to reconnect with classmates and friends during Homecoming week. A Matador Evening will begin at 6 p.m. in the McKenzie-Merket Alumni Center and will be honoring John and Diane Scovell with the Lauro F. Cavazos Award and Stephanie Rhode with the Distinguished Service Award. Purchase tickets online at texastechalumni.org/matador-evening by Sept. 21.

Pep Rally & Bonfire

Student Activities Board is hosting a Pep Rally for Homecoming! It will be filled with spirit and Raider Power for the upcoming Homecoming game against Iowa State. Come out to Urbanovsky Park at 8 PM and see Raider Red, the Goin' Band, Cheer, Pom Squad, Saddle Tramps, High Riders, and a special guest speaker.

Enjoy Homecoming at the Frazier Alumni Pavilion as Texas Tech takes on West Virginia. Come to the best pregame party in town at the Texas Tech Alumni Association's climate-controlled facility, with easy access to Jones AT&T Stadium, food, cold beverages, clean restrooms, and big screens broadcasting games from around the country. 
Celebrate #TTAAgameday! Admission is free with your Alumni Association or Student Alumni Association membership. Not a member, you can sign up at the door or online at texastechalumni.org/join.
