Spirit Boards and Banners Competition

The spirit board and banner competition is an opportunity to for student organizations all across campus to show off their artistic skills. Be sure to stop by the Broadway entrance to campus to see the spirit boards on display all week! Winners will be announced at the Friday night pep rally.

See the boards at the TTU Broadway Entrance and Residence Hall boards along 18th Street, then see the banners hanging in the SUB!

Book Drive

Donate new children's books for ages 0-4 to benefit The Parenting Cottage's "1,000 Books before Kindergarten" Program

Please bring new children's board books for ages 2-3 to any of the donation bins in the Student Union Building during the week of Homecoming, October 15-20. The books will benefit The Parenting Cottage's "1,000 Books before Kindergarten" program.

Donation bins will be located at the Information Desk across from Barnes & Noble and the Information Desk in the Allen Theatre Lobby in the Student Union Building.

Join us as we gather to remember Texas Tech students, alumni, faculty and staff who have passed away in the last year.

Homecoming Stepshow

SUB Allen Theatre
7:00 pm

The Homecoming Stepshow is a competition hosted by the National Pan-Hellenic Council, which at Texas Tech consists of the six historically black fraternities and sororities on campus. Each fraternity & sorority will be performing a complex step routine complete with an individualized theme in order to win the top prize. Tickets for the general public are $7 and will be available through Eventbrite beginning October 1.  You can find the tickets link from the @TTU_NPHC on Twitter and @Texas_Tech_NPHC on Instagram.

Top Techsan Luncheon

The Top Techsan Luncheon will be held at noon on Friday, Oct. 19, in the McKenzie-Merket Alumni Center. Join us as we honor staff members who display extraordinary work proficiency and an attitude of team spirit within the Texas Tech family, as well as retired faculty and staff with at least 10 years of service to the University. Purchase tickets through the Alumni Association website.

The Texas Tech Homecoming Parade is a long-standing tradition. Members of organizations all across campus assemble their best floats possible and compete to win awards! The Parade is a great opportunity for Lubbock families as well as students to come together to celebrate the Homecoming weekend!
In the event of inclement weather, parade will be cancelled.

A Matador Evening honoring Dr. Bill Dean

Lubbock Memorial Civic Center

Join us for the 56th annual A Matador Evening on Oct. 19. The elegant event is a fundraiser, with proceeds supporting academic scholarships, faculty enrichment, local chapter efforts and alumni awards, as well as an opportunity for alumni to reconnect with classmates and friends during Homecoming week. Purchase tickets online by October 11.

Pep Rally 

MOVED TO United Supermarkets Arena

Student Activities Board is hosting a Pep Rally for Homecoming! It will be filled with spirit and Raider Power for the upcoming Homecoming game against Iowa State. Come see Raider Red, the Goin' Band, Cheer, Pom Squad, Saddle Tramps, High Riders, and a special guest speaker.

Bonfire - CANCELED

Due to the inclement weather throughout the week, safety concerns for the students building the bonfire and the conditions of the campus grounds, the bonfire has been canceled.

Enjoy Homecoming at the Frazier Alumni Pavilion as Texas Tech takes on Kansas. Come to the best pregame party in town at the Texas Tech Alumni Association's climate-controlled facility, with easy access to Jones AT&T Stadium, food, cold beverages, clean restrooms, and big screens broadcasting games from around the country. 
Celebrate #TTAAgameday! Admission is free with your Alumni Association or Student Alumni Association membership. Not a member, you can sign up at the door or online at texastechalumni.org/join.
