What is Coaching?
Coaching is a personalized way to reach success on your own terms in the areas that are important to you. You can meet with a coach as often as you'd like, in a one-on-one setting. It provides a space for finding new perspectives that can help you make better plans to achieve your goals. Coaches help you think things through and offer accountability.
How do Students Define Coaching?
Coaching serves all TTU students, and this playlist is a collection of just some of the students who attend coaching. Take a few minutes to listen to each of their stories and experiences with a Life Coach!
What can you talk about with a University Life Coach?
Anything... Yes, anything! The student experience and making the most of it at TTU can be challenging and complex. Our goal is to help you build the future that you want.
Our coaches are trained and certified through the International Coaching Federation and Gallup CliftonStrengths to help you determine the best way to achieve your goals.
What to Expect in Coaching
Students will arrive at Drane Hall 234 to check in, and then have a 40–50 minute sit down meeting with a coach. This one-on-one meeting is private, relaxed, and intended to be fun!
During the course of a meeting, it will highlight four main components: a Check-In, Setting an Agenda, Exploration, and Creating an Action Step.
