University Studies

The University Studies Program is an interdisciplinary academic program. Texas Tech University's Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science in University Studies are not one-size-fits-all degree programs. Areas of concentration and the coursework used to build them are as dynamic and versatile as our students' futures. B.A. or B.S. in University Studies students are given the opportunity to build a program of study by selecting areas of concentration from any of Texas Tech's academic colleges. The choice is yours; with the B.A. or B.S. in University Studies, you can become whatever you want. Each University Studies major will be required to take 12 hours of Integrative Studies courses. Students must take, INTS2310, INTS3300, INTS3301 or INTS4320 (Choose 1), and INTS4350.

Coursework required for the bachelor's degrees in university studies are offered in Lubbock, online and at multiple locations throughout Texas, making it one of the most accessible degrees offered by Texas Tech University.
