NSF CAREER Proposals Due in July

PLEASE NOTE: ALL DEADLINES NOTED BELOW HAVE ALREADY PASSED

NSF CAREER proposals are due over the course of three days, July 21 – 23. It is critical that everyone observes the following important dates in their interactions with the Office of Research Services (ORS) analysts who will be assisting you in the submission of your proposal.

NSF proposals are more complicated than they used to be; CAREER proposals have several additional documents, which require time to obtain. It is not too early to start many of the required components.

• For all CAREER applicants – Please note that the final budget deadline has already passed (July 16).
• For BIO, CISE, and EHR proposals due at NSF on Tuesday, July 21, ORS must have the complete, final proposal package, ready for submission, no later than Monday, July 20.
• For ENG proposals due at NSF Wednesday, July 22, ORS must have the complete, final proposal package, ready for submission, no later than Tuesday, July 21.
• For GEO, MPS, and SBE proposals due at NSF Thursday, July 23, ORS must have the complete, final proposal package, ready for submission, no later than Wednesday, July 22.

If you have not confirmed your proposal submission with ORS, please contact your proposal analyst as soon as possible.

Keep in mind that this is a busy deadline time and there will also be proposals due to other sponsors during this same time period. The earlier we have the proposal the more thorough the review we can provide.
