Texas Tech University at Waco resides on the McLennan Community College campus and offers upper level coursework towards a variety of bachelor's degree. Through the University Center partnership, students complete their core curriculum requirements with the community college and the upper level requirements with Texas Tech University while remaining on the McLennan Community College campus.
Two biology degree options are available for biology majors at the Texas Tech University Higher Education Teaching site in Waco. A minor in biology is also available for the Bachelor of General Studies, Bachelor of Arts/Science in University Studies, and the Bachelor of Applied Arts and Science in Applied Leadership.
The majority of courses are offered as face-to-face classes on the MCC campus. Students may also take online courses from TTU Lubbock biology faculty.

Sydney is an Academic Advisor with the Texas Tech Higher Education Teaching Site at Waco. She advises all students in the McLennan County area at the Michaelis Academic Center on the MCC campus as well as over the phone and via email. She works closely with each student in order to determine career goals and create specific plans aimed at meeting student needs.
