TTU at Junction Hosts 3rd Annual Trail of Lights

by Kelly Podzemny

Texas Tech University Center at Junction (TTU at Junction) hosted its 3rd annual "Trail of Lights" event in December prior to departing for the winter break. Every year leading into the holiday season the TTU at Junction staff decorates its Discovery Point Trail with lights and luminaries and invites the surrounding community for a ½-mile walk through the softly lit wilderness. More than 2,000 luminaries adorned the trail this year, with a third of them being decorated by volunteers at Junction ISD, Kimble County Meals on Wheels and Hill Country Care Center.

Approximately 150 community members from Junction and the Texas Hill Country region were in attendance.
