My name is Slate Perez. I am from Ft. Worth Texas. I am an undergraduate at the Davis College of Agricultural Science. I am a Plant and Soil science major with a concentration in crop science. Before joining the team, I spend every summer working on my family farm harvesting and planting sorghum and wheat for seed sales in Kansas. I enjoy helping with anything the researchers need help with and learning what all goes on behind the scenes to what I’m used to.
